Welcome back or Welcome!

We hope everyone is starting to settle into a routine after the first week of school. Our goal is to provide a weekly PTA E-newsletter.

Please let us know if we need to add anyone to the PTA email list.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday September 28th at 7:00 pm.

Center School Events

The following activities are coming up, so please put them on your calendar. Should you have any questions, you can direct them to your student’s advisor, Ms. Berkery or Ms. Hand.

September 19: All School Trip – Ellis Island (Please pack a sack lunch for your student.)

September 22: Advisory Afternoon

September 28: Back-to-School Night: First Parent Meeting (in-person) @ 7:00 pm (This is for parents and guardians only)

After-School Program

Just a reminder, the after-school program starts on Monday, September 18. If you have any questions, please contact Adler Bruno at abruno@manhattanyouth.org. 

Grade Connections

WhatsApp groups have been created to connect Center School families in each grade. To join, please click on the link for the WhatsApp associated with your student’s grade in the email version of this newsletter or contact the office.

Auction

The auction committee is looking forward to meeting with everyone who would like to participate in planning this event. We will be announcing our first meeting date in September (TBD).

  • November 23-24: Thanksgiving – SCHOOL CLOSED

  • December 25 – January 1: Winter Recess – SCHOOL CLOSED
  • March 7: Auction, Potluck Dinner & Curriculum Night
  • March: 21: TACS Show
