Pledge Drive
- We are one-fourth of the way to our goal. We can do it!
- The pledge drive has raised over $18,000 dollars so far with a goal of $75,000.
- Participation is at about 22 families (~10%)
- We will have a Giving Tuesday challenge on November 28th where the top two (2) participating advisories will win a pizza party.

Mix & Mingle
We will be hosting our rescheduled Mix & Mingle tomorrow, November 17th at 5:30 PM. The event will be hosted both in the cafeteria and the school yard. Pizza plus gluten free options to be provided. Please remember to bring your own beverages (A water fountain is also available).
WSCAH
The Center School is pleased to partner with West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) again this year for their Healthy Foods Holiday Challenge (formerly known as the Turkey Challenge). Join us in supporting WSCAH as they work to provide healthy holiday foods for tens of thousands of families this Thanksgiving season. The next CRJE Meeting is Monday, December 4th, 6:30 pm. More information to come – and ideas and new members are welcome!

Auction
The Auction preparation is off to a wonderful start. Our goal is 100% participation and we are requesting two (2) donations per household.
Our next auction meeting will be in the New Year and announced in this newsletter in December.
Our annual auction supports student enrichment in ways like our computer teacher, technology, theater arts and field trips.
Our neighborhood businesses love to participate, so please remember to mention our April 4th event on your stops around the area.

In the Community
The Safe Haven West Side Basketball League is gearing up for its 35th year of recreational basketball and we hope that the families of the Center School will join our youth sports community as we expand our schedule of games, instruction, friendship and fun!
The Winter League will start the weekend of January 6 & 7, 2024 for boys and girls ages 7 to 18 (grades 2 – 12) who attend public, private, parochial or charter schools.
