Updates from the Administration

Picture Day retakes: April 9th

Curriculum Fair:  Is the same day as the auction, Thursday, April 4th. See what your kids are learning in school! Activities and exhibits in every classroom from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.  Potluck and auction immediately following in the cafeteria. See Auction details ⬇️

Parent Survey: Please fill out the parent survey if you haven’t already done so.  We are hoping for 100% participation; so far, we are only at 28%. You can either fill in online and send a screenshot of the completion screen or send in the completed paper version, sealed, and we will mail them all from school.   (You’ll need your student’s OSIS number for the online version.) https://www.schools.nyc.gov/about-us/reports/school-quality/nyc-school-survey

Other Reminders:

  • School Closed on Wednesday, April 10th (Eid al-Fitr)
  • Community Coffee in the Courtyard, Wednesday, April 17th
  • IMPORTANT SCHOOL BUILDING UPDATE: The DOE has installed a new video doorbell system.  Beginning next Wednesday, the door at 84th Street will be locked, and visitors will need to be buzzed in to check in at the security desk.  This will not affect the kids during the morning arrival or dismissal, but parents picking students up in the middle of the day will need to be buzzed in.
