Announcements/ Important Dates Coming Up
- School is closed on Friday, November 1
- 8th grade students take the SHSAT at school on October 30th (tomorrow) starting at 9 am. 5th – 7th grade students will visit AMNH and Central Park during the test. Good luck to our 8th graders!
- The Halloween party is on Thursday, October 31st. Students should bring in their assigned party items (including canned food) ideally on Wednesday (tomorrow), but if not, Thursday is fine. Students are encouraged to bring costumes to wear to the party on Thursday, but they should bring them to school in their bags. Please DO NOT wear them to school. Students will be given time to change at the end of lunch.
- Picture Day: Wednesday November 6th
- Community Coffee: Thursday, November 14th

Auction
The 2025 Auction and Potluck will be held Thursday, April 10th in the school cafeteria. This year’s theme is PURE IMAGINATION.
The auction needs two main things to be successful: Volunteers and Auction Items!

Pledge Drive

Center School Website
We are working on a refresh of the school website. As a part of the update, we want to include some photography. We are looking for any Center School community member who loves photography.

District 3
This is a friendly reminder that we are having our first State of our District 3 Schools address by Superintendent Kamar Samuels on October 29th. The event will be held at the Joan of Arc Campus, 154 West 93rd Street at 6:00 pm. Here is the link to register if you have not already.
