§Changing by the Minute. (aka the Center School documentary) The premiere of the documentary by Camilla Calamandrei, Center School parent and alum, is on June 16th from 6-8pm at LaGuardia High School. Support the CS Community :
Kids For Ukraine is a group of Center School students who support Ukraine by attending rallies and protests and fundraising to spread awareness and education about the ongoing war in Ukraine. All of their profits from online sales and fundraisers are donated to children’s charities for Ukraine. The best ways to help are to attend rallies and protests, spread the word about our group, buy and promote their merchandise, and most of all, discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine with your children, as it is vital that they understand and care about what is truly happening. So far, they have raised more than $250! Thank You Center School Community!
The first-ever Mix and Mingle was a great success! Even the rain could not keep us apart. It was wonderful to be together again. Thank you to the Center School community for your help and contributions. Thank you also to the PTA Board for coming together to help organize this fabulous event. A HUGE thank you to Lisa Procopio for her incredible job putting together all of the food. Of course, a BIG thank you to all of the Center School staff and Ms. Schwartz for attending the event. It was lovely having the opportunity to speak to everyone. And last, but definitely not least, a special thank you to Ms. Berkery and Ms. Lopez for all that they do.
