We are grateful for our school community.
We kicked off the Center School Giving Tuesday Contest this morning and we have
already seen a bump in donations. Thank you! Our top three advisories are Finkelstein, Friedman and Holst, but there is still time, and ten other advisories are within striking distance! Our current school-wide participation rate is 20%. Let’s see if we can increase that! The contest details are highlighted below.

Giving Tuesday
We are hosting our Center School Giving Tuesday Contest today. The Tuesday after
Thanksgiving is a Global Day of Giving. To commemorate this, we are having a school- wide contest. What could be more fun than giving and a friendly contest between advisories? Please see the attached flyer for details.

– Community Coffee in the Courtyard – We will be hosting our December Community
Coffee on Friday, December 2nd. We will host the coffee in the courtyard after drop-off.
– Opportunities to get Involved
Space needed for Chamber Music Night
We are STILL looking for a location to host our annual Chamber Music Night in the
spring. It is typically hosted in the home of someone from the Center School community.
The space requirement should allow for 15-20 people + space for the ensemble to set-up. If you are interested in hosting, please contact Centerschoolspecialevents@gmail.com.

Auction Update
We need YOUR HELP to make our biggest fundraiser a success. We are asking for
TWO donations per family (one before the winter break). Currently, about 10% of
our school families have made a donation. Thank you.

We also need volunteers to join the food committee (and help coordinate with local
restaurants and parents to secure food for our potluck).
